Futurecom Systems Group, ULC Announces Connectivity Deployment Application Note for the PDR8000 - Portable Digital Repeater
Las Vegas, March 6, 2019: Futurecom Systems Group, ULC today announced their Connectivity Deployment Application Note for their PDR8000 - Portable Digital Repeater. The PDR8000 provides both local on-scene P25 coverage and analog coverage. There is an optional V.24 wireline connection available with the PDR8000 allowing connectivity to Motorola Solutions Inc. dispatch consoles and voting systems.
The Connectivity Application Note will assist PDR8000 - Portable Digital Repeater users on how to further extend their P25 Network through a variety of deployment backhauls including V.24 conversion either over LTE or IP modems or V.24 to serial modem links.
“Whether it’s a dignitary protection team responsible for guarding heads of state or a search and rescue team providing aid in times of natural disaster, Futurecom users have developed innovative methods to extend their P25 Network. We captured customer use cases, tested and verified them to create this application note”, said Paul Halinaty, President & CEO.

The terms “market leader” and “industry standard” are used by many companies because of their ambiguity. At Futurecom, we believe in “show me” don’t “tell me”. Futurecom’s radio coverage solutions are actively deployed by over 800 agencies worldwide. Thousands of those units have been in service for over 15 years.
When first responders need RF coverage, they bring Futurecom.
