June is Slips, Trips and Falls Prevention Month

Across the McWane family of companies, our  safety awareness campaigns continue in June with a focus on the prevention of slips, trips and falls. Worldwide, falls are the second-leading cause of unintentional, injury-related deaths. The attention of every team member and commitment to identify hazardous conditions and unsafe behaviors is essential to reducing the risks to which our team members are exposed. 

April's designation as Hand Safety Awareness Month generated a tremendous amount of creativity across the McWane facilities – from interactive safety demonstrations that incorporated hand safety to creative giveaways. We look forward to illustrating the ways our teams are participating this month to help prevent slips, trips and falls and highlighting our team members' commitment to being proactive for safety. Be on the lookout for photos and additional information!
